This morning the NHFT was honored as it was asked to host the press conference headlined by Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro and AFT- National President Randi Weingarten. The event was to discuss our concern over the recent “Janus” Supreme Court ruling that intends to destroy unions and deny working people such as teachers, police officers, firefighters, health care workers, municipal employees, and other workers the right to collectively bargain for wages, medical benefits, a safe working environment, due process for workplace violations, etc.
